AAF - INDIANAPOLIS PRESENTS 2009-10 ADDY AWARDS
INDIANAPOLIS — The American Advertising Federation (AAF) – Indianapolis presented its 2009-10 ADDY Awards for advertising creative excellence on Saturday evening at the Indianapolis Museum of Art in the Deer-Zink Pavilion. This annual dinner and awards presentation was attended by more than 100 individuals in the local advertising and media industries.
Of the 248 entries received by AAF-Indianapolis, 24 gold ADDY Awards, 25 silver ADDY Awards and 16 bronze ADDY Awards were presented. Entries were judged based on creativity, originality and creative strategy.
Top honors of the evening went to the Overall Best of Show Award winner, Scofield Editorial, for its Advertising Industry Self-Promotion entry, “Vendor Client Relationship in Real.”
Three “Judges’ Awards” were given in the categories of television, print and interactive. Hirons & Company captured the Judges’ Award for television with its Rethinking Redistricting campaign for the Indiana Secretary of State. Borshoff garnered the Judges’ Award for print for its client, Indianapolis Power & Light Company, while Timber Design Company was awarded a Judges’ Award for interactive for its internal Web site.
The AAF - Indianapolis ADDY Awards Competition is sponsored by AAF - Indianapolis, a member association comprised of advertising and media professionals. Proceeds from the ADDY Awards help support AAF - Indianapolis’ educational programs, public service projects and proactive government relations efforts.
The ADDY Awards competition is a three-tier national competition, conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation. The ADDY Awards competition is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition for creative excellence.
